Thomas Young Tinmouth (1895): 1901 census shows that he had moved in with his Wetherell grandparents, aged 5. This might be because his sister had just been born
Note: 2 (To Do)
Thomas Young Tinmouth (1895): his career as a river pilot is from data provided by Mark Egan or Joan Stuart. It would help to be cross-verified.

Thomas Young Tinmouth (1895):
From Jeff Egan, via Tyne Pilots family research Facebook group (13 Oct 22):
I think the TYTinmouth your interested in was the one born 25.05.1895. He obtained his 3rd Class license on 06.02.1920 I don’t have a record of the exact dates of his 2nd class and 1st class but they would have most probably have been in 1922 and 1924. I can clearly remember the day he retired on his 70th birthday. He was still a very fit man and he was very upset by the fact he had to retire at 70. He came into the office on his 70th clearly very upset but there was nothing that anyone could do for him. He died on 23.10.1980 aged 85 years, he was an active pilot for 45years 3 months.
pilots were examined for their licences by the Pilots Committee I was presented with my 3rd and 2nd class licence in the pilot office but for my 1st class I had to go up to Trinity House Newcastle to get presented with it there.
in the case of T.Y. I only knew him briefly as I was a sixteen year old first year apprentice while he was a very old Pilot. The other two you mention I knew for longer. Metcalfe the best as he was on the same watch as me until he retired. After he retired I used to visit him at home as he got a bit lonely after his wife died.
