Dorothy Fleet: My father has a model of the Tinmouth coble that was passed down to my mother. It was looking a little the worse for wear - broken mast and missing oars - so he repaired it and I tidied up some of the paintwork a couple of years ago. It is called 'John and Isabella' so I think it must be about 150 years old. My mother could remember it being in a glass case in the hallway when she was a child. Apparently my grandmother fell off the ladder when she was cleaning it and so that is why it was removed from the case.
