Note

William Henry Freebury (1844-1919) - parents were William Freebury (1821 - 1856?) and Sarah (1818-1851?). Both were from various communities within Gloucestershire. He had a sister Matilda Annn who was baptised at the same service 23 June 1844 at Stroud Wesleyan Methodist Church. She was 1 year and 10 months at her baptism.

Death of William Henry Freebury (1844) - Kingston, Surrey may be the place where his death was registered presumably by one of his children, rather than the place where he died. Need to check on where his children were living at this time.

The same applies to his wife Sarah Ann .

  Narrative

William Henry Freebury (1844) and Sarah Ann Dudbridge - in the 1911 census it is recorded that they had 9 children in total, of whom only 5 had survived by the time of the census. I've "invented" the eighth child and haven't finished the recording of all the descendants.

I can't find the family in the 1881 Census to confirm the names of the children.

It is also worth noting that in the baptism evidence for Kate and John Freebury that on 23 Feb 1883 William Henry applied to the Fulham Union for money and food to help with "Illness and destitution". His fortunes appear to have improved as he has moved to Willesden as a cabinet maker by 1891.
